This arrow is made from shapes I have tried to make this for yesterdays but I finally finished it well the true story is Mrs Nua did it and I help it was a pretty hard challenge.

My Personal Goals - 2011

My achievement I was most proud of last year in the classroom was writing. This year I am starting to get better at writing and be more interesting with my stories. Now I am getting better at it I think I should write more awesome stories.

The thing I was most proud of last year outside of the classroom was playing around with my friends.

In reading my learning goal is to get higher grades like other people.
To achieve this goal I need to work harder on everything.

In Maths my goal is to try my best at my fractions.

The learning area I think I need to improve in most is my writing and my maths.

In my learning my goal this term is to ‘Take Charge’ ..

My goal for this year around the classroom is to be a good boy in my class.

My goal for this year around the school is to look after the little ones and take charge of everything.

My parents goal for me this Term is to try and earn a certificate and award.

Telephone Invention

What if you had no telephone? You would not be able to contact your family and friends. Thanks to Alexander Graham Bell for his clever invention. If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't be using telephones. If we didn't have it we would have to use birds that will carry messages around.
On March the 7th 1876 the first phone ever was invented. It looked different to the 2011 phone because the olden day phones don’t look flashy but the new phones look really flashy.
The olden day phone was made out of wood but the new phones are made out of different material. In the olden days the old telephone box's looked like a robot but it wasn't a telephone robot that moved around they were telephones that were stuck to the wall.

Tornado

On April 5th 2011 a sad thing happened. A tornado smashed and crashed up Albany North Shore at 3pm. There was heaps of damage to houses and shopping centers that were destroyed. Luckily there was only one man that died. He was fixing his roof and then got caught up in the tornado. It was spinning him around and threw him into a building and got him into a bad situation. Two doctors were rushing quickly to save this mans life but it was too late, he was gone.
People in houses thought that it was a plane flying low but it wasn't it was the whoosh of wind and a black cloud coming forward to them spinning around. Have you seen a washing machine twirling around it looks just like a tornado.
In the tornado were cars, trucks and ceilings off houses, all these were in the tornado.
Where would you hide if a mean beast with explosive power that sounds just like a jet-engine roaring was right outside your window?
Well it’s just not your ordinary day.
